Everything. The property is so beautiful with lots of hanging plants, trees, water features, hammocks, swings etc. As a solo traveller I felt very safe as they lock the front door and you need to ring a bell to gain access and it all felt very private as it was hidden by big trees. It’s only about a 5-10 minute walk to the centre/fifth avenue so the location is perfect. I looked forward to breakfast each morning as you had a lovely selection of fruit bowls, as well as toast, cake, tea, coffee, orange juice etc. I actually ended up extending a couple of times as I loved the hotel so much and the staff were really kind and understanding. I would definitely stay here again and couldn’t recommend it enough - it’s a calm, peaceful hidden gem within the hustle and bustle of Playa Del Carmen.

Nice small hotel, family friendly. 5 minute walk to the beach and 5ta Avenida. Very close, walking distance to the ADO buses which are a good transportation to and from Cancun Airport, and other places like Tulum, etc. The continental breakfast was good, fresh ingredients. We stayed in a suite which had a small kitchen, good working fridge. Pool area only has 3 lounge chairs, but even on a busy spring break week kids enjoyed it. Free parking. We enjoyed the outdoor space, all the nature that is in the middle of Playa DC. We have been to Playa many times and stayed at other places, overall this is a great value and location.

This place was a great stay in playa if you're not trying to spend an arm and a leg on accommodations. What we most liked about Hulku was the beautiful landscaping, the pool, and the kindess of the staff. We weren't there much and basically just needed the room to sleep in- which it worked just fine for that. We had a room with 2 beds, a nice working AC and TV. It could be decorated a little more and is more bland than i'm used to, but that's the only thing I really noticed. The outside really made up for the standard and older interior of our room. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great location (not directly on 5th avenue, but quite close). Easy to walk to the beach in about 5 min. Possibility to rent bikes (2 hours included for hotel guests). Breakfast was great and included coffee, different juices per day, yogurt with fruit and granola, toast with butter and jam as well as a piece of carrot cake. Rooms and the entire hotel area were clean. We loved the „jungle“ with tons of plants and hammocks and other seating options in the inner courtyard.

Location was convenient, staff were nice, the vibe was cozy with lots of trees. Water dispensers to refill your water bottles, bicycles complimentary use for 2 hours. Free parking. Walking distance to the beach. Loved the balcony / outdoor area. The kitchenette room had 2 balconies and a hammock, overlooking the pool, that was really nice. Free breakfast - simple fruit and yogurt, toast, coffee. Amazing staff.
